Can't Get BD-Live To Work - Blu-ray Forum

OK so I already posted this in the Is BD-Live just a scam thread but then thought this might be the actual section to post my question in if not sorry staff for double posting.

I have the Sony BDP-S350 hooked up to the internet via ethernet cable and my firmware is up to date yet BD-Live won't work. Anyone know why?

Sorry to double post but maybe the ethernet connection isn't enough? I thought you only needed a drive to save the content not use it but I just saw this:

Additional improvements over original firmware:

* Adds BD-Live functionality.
o BD-Live allows you to enjoy additional content and services while playing a BD-Live capable disc.
o For optimal performance, we recommend that you use a Broadb

LMAO, what was that? You really dig Carrie, huh?

Some players do need flash added. If it mentions that, they yeah... that's your whole problem. It doesn't have anything to cache to.

1gig minimum flash drive needed to use bdlive feature.

Sorry y'all forgot that I copied that from an msn convo it was my first Carrie concert floors seats, amazing just amazing what a show! Thank you aramis109 and jomari.

I have the connection working and I have the EXTernal memory in the USB, But still no luck with BD-Live. Any other suggestions?

derekvalder New Member Member since:Jul 2009	I'm also having problem with BDP-S360 I have the connection working and I have the EXTernal memory in the USB, But still no luck with BD-Live. Any other suggestions?
