What's going on here is that these are Alliance Canada-only releases which seem to have much lower MSRP's. These are not even much higher at BB/FS and in many cases. Also Walmart has lower prices than Amazon on some of these Alliance titles.
If you think amazon.ca prices are getting better, then check out Pretty Woman on Blu-ray. Only $31 for a catalog title ![]() Amazon's price is mostly based on fixed percentage discounts of MSRP. So it's really the Canadian MSRP's that set the price. Since Disney is coming out with crazy Canadian MSRP's and Alliance has very reasonable MSRP's this is what we get for prices. |
