Curious to see what the UK disc be like as it's advertised as extended cut.
I can't see this having 2 different discs, the subtitle infos pretty much match on both too.

The Shining was never dubbed in Quebec, so there is only one french dub (the Parisian dub).

I just plugged in The Shining and it popped up.

It’s available at Sunrise for $38. Gates and I reserved our copies. I suggest you do the same.

Any idea if this will have bilingual packaging? LOL. I'm assuming that it might not since there doesn't seem to be an official Canadian release.

The closest Sunrise to me closed last month, I'd really have to trek to the next closest one. I'm gonna try Bay Street Video, at least they're downtown.

Otherwise it's Sunrise or I'll just grab it off Amazon UK.

I’m not sure. I suspect it does. I think someone posted a pic of the back and it had the Canadian rating logo.

It reminds of the VHS days where I would have to call my local video store to reserve the new releases. I remember I had Robocop reserved weeks in advance.

Lol! Yeah no... I’ll stick with Sunrise. I’m going to pick up Gremlins as well.

Hmm. It's possible, but Canadian ratings are on pretty much all US releases regardless of whether or not the packaging is bilingual. Detective Pikachu had a Canadian rating on the back, even had a French audio track and yet no bilingual packaging.

I just really don't wanna see THE SHINING/L'ENFANT LUMIERE on the damn spine lol.

And yeah I really really want Gremlins too. That's been one of my most anticipated remasters, the master even looked dated when the first Blu-ray came out.

Yeah I know. It’s ugly, I’m so used to it now though. I just want the movie. I usually wait to watch on weekends but I’m definitely watching on release day.
