This seems surprising you would sully your collection with an Arrow disk with all the moaning and groaning over the years regarding Arrow. I imagine you're a closeted convert now.

They'll all be rare collectible's when you can't buy them anymore. You still don't know how this business works huh?

I’m sure I’m a likely candidate at this point to get suspended for pointing this out but just because something is withheld or stock is limited doesn’t make it a rare collectible, ever heard of baseball cards or beanie babies in the 90’s?

But what do I know, I’ve only been a collector for 25 years and own well over 1000 VHS, DVD’s, Blu’s 4K’s... etc

In my opinion the Theatrical Cut is the better version of the movie, as the pacing is better and it doesn't have the unnecessary ending.

It's a shame the only way I can watch this now is via a dodgy upload on Youtube. I own a copy of the even dodgier Blu Ray, so I don't feel that pang of guilt by watching an illegitimate copy

The Code Red DVD is a legit way of watching the TC, that's what the youtube version is pirated from

And in before "but I bought the TC on Blu" refunds were offered to those who wanted them that bought before the disclaimer that the TC didn't work was added

The DVD is hard to come by at a reasonable price, so not an option for people who have never seen the movie.

Going by most recent eBay sales the DVD sold for $10 (9/22/19) used and $16 new (9/24/19), compared to $40 (9/24/19) new for the Blu-ray.

So I dunno $10-$16 doesn't sound like a huge investment for something you watch semi frequently, as it sounds like you do with the TC from your post. It might take a little bit for an auction to come up but it seems that when it does the DVD naturally sells under $20.

The main disadvantage of the DVD is that it has the worst PQ by far of all the disc-based media versions and is in the wrong aspect ratio, but if you are a fan of the TC its your only legit option.

You still going on about this? Nobody cares about The Carrier...there’s no potential upside to selling a botched release of it. None.

He didn't say you brought it up. He asked if you were still going on about it.
And you are. Eight days after the post you linked to.

Yeah and about five different people brought of various aspects of the release that I discussed, I simply replied to those people and made a couple of jokes.

There's not much dark force related news now so not sure what else to talk about re dark force. Maybe when people get the new drive in release there will be more action in the thread.
