Not sure, but for Spider-Verse it was the same. They closed pre-order before release and didn't have any for sale on release day (DDDhouse specifically)

The HK version is different and is released on 10-3-19.
DDDhouse has an October 4th release and the preorder deadline was last Thursday. They're selling the Hong Kong edition as far as I know.

Yeah, it doesn't look good. It appears that Sony does very limited runs of 3D discs in Hong Kong. I emailed DDDHouse to ask if they expect any additional stock next week, but I'll probably have to wait for another country's release at this point. Oh well.

Edit: Just heard back from DDDHouse and they confirmed that they will NOT be getting any more stock. As I suspected, it was a very limited run in Hong Kong.

Mainly because it's $46, plus the free shipping method can take up to 2 weeks. At that point, I might as well wait for the UK version for half the price.

Just saw that it's getting a 3D release in Mexico. I'll probably get that one to slip into my Best Buy steelbook.

Strangely, the Blu-ray 3D is still not dated but the 4K and regular are. I hsve W feeling we might not get it.

If anyone ordered from the "rahul-and-i-store" on eBay the tracking code he sent a while back after they were taken down has now shown it is shipped. Glad I held on and waited for him. I should get it early next week.

I look forward to reading your post next week when you say that it didn't arrive.

Amazon India is showing all editions of Far From Home as "In Stock" and ready to ship, so my guess is that Rahul finally received his allotment and actually fulfilled the pre-orders. I guess I should have been patient and not cancelled my order with him, but I just can't support his business model any longer.

Why would that be though? I always had great luck with him getting 3D titles not available in the USA. They all are top quality and many had the bonus disc; legitimate releases (Venom, Spider-verse, etc.) I always support a US 3D release first, namely Best Buy or the rare occasion Amazon US, but when it isn't available and Amazon UK isn't an option (wasn't when I ordered originally) he was a great resource. I hope he comes back. Paid $39.99 w free shipping and got 10% back in eBay bucks. The tracking shows it is now in the system where he ships from in Texas like usual. This was my first post ever after reading posts on here for years now and your pessimism is unfounded. I look forward to watching it next week.

Yeah I always would just wait until they were in stock and people would leave positive feedback on getting them before I would buy since I don't like paying and waiting. I got this one because of the 10% eBay bucks early and I was buying a lot of other stuff from other people to use the 6 months PayPal Credit thing. Thought about cancelling but I'm glad I didn't since the UK one still looks to be in limbo for now.

Has a UK release ever actually been confirmed? I know several online retailers are taking preorders (I preordered with Amazon UK), but I still haven't seen any solid release date.

HMV has listed an exclusive 3D steelbook for release on November 11. They also lost the standard 3D version with a November 11 release date.

Zoom also has it listed for November 11.

So yes, I’d say it’s basically confirmed. I think Amazon UK is just being lazy by not updating their listing.

That's very funny they've been sold out in minutes...
is anybody here successful in pre-ordering some copy?

I honestly wonder if WEET puts any up for pre-sale or if they sell everything before the pre-sale and just put "out of stock" to make it seem like there was a buying frenzy when they really just sold everything weeks earlier. I've never seen any of them in stock before, I tried to buy Spider-Verse with the same problem. It was OOP less than a minute after launch. Seems improbable.
