All these titles have been released already but amazon is showing them as pre-orders

For Tropic Tunder it's listed as unrated cut instead of Dir cut.
I'd be pretty p****d if this is some double dipp offering.

LOL, I'm not re-buying Tropic Thunder. I am not sure how much more it could improve on.

It's not listed as "unrated cut," all that's there is an unrated label. The director's cut is unrated, so it's probably just a re-release in lieu of Casino Royale.

I don't see what they could do to improve on Top Gun. It was a solid transfer for an 80s movie with a killer audio track and a load of extras. Unless they add some never before seen "Tom Cruise goes psycho on the set" bonus feature, I won't double dip even if it is one of my all time favorite movies.

They are adding movie cash to these titles. That's the only difference.

Trust me these are the same releases,maybe they do have Movie Cash or whatever,I've got Top Gun,Face/Off(part of a 2-pack with Next) and T.T.,and there pefectly fine w/ me!

What movie is the movie cash for in Top Gun

By the way.... watched Top Gun on Blu-ray yesterday, and I was rocking the 80's soundtrack ....... great AQ on that disc!!!!!

Damn, I was hoping Payback would get a lossless audio track instead of stupid Dolby Digital. Really like that movie too. I'm ok with my copy of Face/Off, DTS-ES Matrix is frickin loud!

Face/Off needs a new transfer as it has too much DNR on the current one.

Starting May 5th, Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment will start to throw a Movie-Cash ticket on all their Blu-ray collection that have previously been released.

For Example: Event Horizon, Face/Off, Ghost Town, Next, Payback, Top Gun, etc.

It seems it would be movie-cash eticket for the new Star Trek film from JJ Abrams.

Someone on this forum mentioned that movie cash is for upcoming release of Star Trek.

+1. I love the movie, hate the director's cut. They rightously messed up a good movie. Get ready to root for the bad guy.

So if I do a pre-order on one of these Paramount movies, do you think it's a sure thing that amazon will ship the right one (the one with the movie cash)? There's nothing about movie cash on the pre-order page.

Some of the other movies are

Event Horizon, Ghost Town, Next

Maybe blu-ray.com should list both the movie cash and without movie cash version in their database so we get price lists for both.
