Alphabetical would be perfection.

Others would be nice. But, but not necessary. They would be for curiosity reasons, like date of birth to go along with popularity.

I can still search for iTunes, VUDU, etc. deals, but I can no longer find any way to search for AIV/Prime Video.

Was this functionality removed, and why?

I still can see deals. When you click on Best Deals for Prime, it defaults to show Amazon Blu-rays. Then, you have to select Prime from that page instead of Amazon. I think that gets you to what you are looking for.
