The Springsteen sequels are unequivocally more fun to watch than the original. That being said, I really love the sleaziness of the first Sleepaway Camp.

Big fan of the Sleepaway Camp movies. Bought them day 1. Not sure if people who didn't like the first at all would like the sequels but maybe? Personally, I think they're good 80s slashers. Interesting that it's only 2 & 3 going OOP even though the first was released quite a while before. Was the original not with MGM as well?

I've never seen the Sleepaway Camp sequels. I've had them on my Amazon Prime Video watchlist for pretty much the last year, still haven't gotten to them.

Believe it or not, I'd never seen the original until Joe Bob's The Last Drive In come back special last summer. The stepmother in that movie cracks me up, it's like she's starring in a completely different movie than everyone else.

The original was licensed from an independent rights owner.

I grabbed Blacula/Scream, Blacula, Scream (from Amazon) and the Sleepaway Camp sequels (from Grindhouse Video). They're the only ones with any sort of rewatch value for me.

So you order Howling 2, from 3 different places, for what?? I've been looking for it all morning, and it was even sold out as I added it to my checkout on Walmart... WTF is that? Who does that?

You were indifferent enough about Howling 2 not to order it for 4 1/2 years but because its now OOP you are willing to buy 3 copies. Interesting

Based on the list provided earlier, it looks like the Lifeforce steelbook is safe? It's just the previous collector's edition we have to worry about? Still might just buy it and avoid the risk. I've already been slacking on this one too long. It's a blind buy for me but I think it's something I'd like.

Your lack of integrity makes the online shopping world more costly for the rest of us. I can think of at least 3 times when I've ordered a film I already had or ordered the same title from two locations just to make sure I didn't miss out. Never would it have crossed my mind to return it.

For any Canadians on here, not the best price in the world but two copies of Garbage Pail Kids popped up on amazon.ca for $28.99. I bought one of them, one left! Earlier this morning amazon had no stock listed, only 3rd parties for quite a bit more.

In my opinion they have a lot more rewatch value than the original, which to be brutally honest, is primarily only remembered because of the ending...
True. It really doesn't feel like they've been available THAT long, at least for me, anyway. But I feel that way about a number of their releases. I'm just surprised that they didn't feel it was worth renewing the license, especially if they both sold very well (although likely not as well as the first one, of course).

No, the first was from an independent licensor, and after it sold really well, they sought out the sequels.

Hell, I'm not even a big fan of Howling 2, but I bought a copy last year so I'd have something with me for Sybil Danning to sign. Now if I can just meet Reb Brown at a convention; it'll go nicely with my copy of Robowar...

Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3 are ones I don’t think anyone should miss out on. I really like them & would recommend them to anyone who hasn’t seen them as a blind buy.

While I actually have most of the titles on the list (that I was interested in) A few of these have been on my list for a numbers of years, but for one reason or another I just never got around to getting them. I just put in a small order at Best Buy of the ones I know I would really kick myself for missing out:

Blacula Double Feature
New Years Evil
The Food Of The Gods / Frogs

You know, The Howling II is on Amazon Prime... For one of the most notoriously terrible sequels ever, you sure are taking a risk. Yikes.

Must have been a run on a lot of these as I was going to order Disturbing Behavior when I got home. Amazon and Best Buy both sold out, both had it in stock this morning. Not anything I desperately so whatever.

Why buy the Shout! blu of Howling 2 if you're region free? Arrow put out an awesome Region B version that's been on sale a few times.

Really? You don't like? I really like this movie. Maybe it's because I'm partial to the Ol' Count, I don't know. I even liked the soundtrack... I hope I find a copy.

I've actually been looking for the Arrow Howling 2 for days, but to no avail. I just saw it on their site a couple weeks ago, but now I couldn't find it... Hm?
