I'm having difficult time figuring out why it's a threat.

No one's going to force you to see it -- unless you are a critic, or possibly work for the company. A threat is usually more like something along the lines of, "Listen: Give me the money in your wallet, or I'm going to beat you to a pulp."

Then one of two things is *definitely* going to happen to you:

You either lose whatever cash you have, or you beaten up. And depending on how much cash you have, neither of those options is a good one, really.

Here, though: You can either go see the movie or ignore it. One option could either be good or bad in the end; the other option is totally irrelevant as far as you're concerned. How is that threat?

It was supposed to be a joke there.

Well, considering how often I see responses from people around that are exactly like that, but not at all jokes, it's difficult to tell sometimes.

I did see that the original comment you are replying to was a joke but I do think this issue feels real. I think that it’s viewed like this: if they make a movie that’s pointless or just stupid then some other possibly more worthy project didn’t get that funding. Like something original for a freeging change.

Just a thought. As for this movie? As useless as boobs on a bull.

I was going to make my post about how there are somewhere between 700-1,000 films released in the US EACH YEAR, but if people still are believing that we get like 10 movies a year, and NOTHING is original ... then I don't know. Why bother?

This is a little star-studded! And John Mulaney and James Corden as wise-cracking mice?! That's awesome!!! And a town crier means this will be set "once upon a time"!
