I'm not sure, unfortunately. I only know about True Lies because it's something that had just happened and my friend had to get it off his chest because of how silly the situation is.

Basically: the understanding has always been that The Abyss will come first, then True Lies. So all of the on-and-off work over the years has been for The Abyss. And then one day a few months ago, Cameron contacts Fox/Disney and says he wants True Lies out in UHD to tie-in to Terminator: Dark Fate.

He told me at the time there was no way they could have it read for DF's theatrical release but they're working on it for when it hits home video.
