Cameron aint writing squat. The guy is knee deep in Avatar for the foreseeable future and works at a snails pace. We'll be lucky if he finds time to oversee the release True Lies and the Abyss on BluRay. This just reeks of the studio trying to sound confident in the new movie. Much like Sony was going to do a sequel to Ghostbusters 2016 and Rian Johnson was getting a Star Wars trilogy.

I will be surprised if Cameron, in the year 2020, before he's completed Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5, miraculously finds time to write an entire script for Terminator 7. Never going to happen I bet.

That could be comical, like some of the humor in Terminator 3, which IMO was the funniest Terminator, in a good way IMO. I think this new Terminator Dark Fate will set the tone for the future of Arnold as Terminator, since he keeps aging.

It truly amazes me how the franchise is stumbling over itself to be as good as the first 2 movies. It's embarrassing. Though I heard Furlong is going to get into shape. Presumably he'll be in shape by 2022. Chances are he'll be in it.

Actually... Wouldn't Dark Fate be Terminator 3? Cause this is a sequel to Terminator 2, which would make the next one after this Terminator 4.

it’s baffling that they think anyone would want to watch another terminator movie. as someone who saw terminator 2 in the theatre when i was very young, it’s always been one of my favorite movies.

but man. the last three movies feel like they were made by someone who didn’t understand at all what was so great about these movies. it’s like the level of quality of a cheap syfy channel original, but with a huge, over bloated budget.

how dumb do they think people are? i like two movies and then they made four shitty ones. but this one will be different. we really mean it this time. fifth times a charm.
