Happened to me with my Blowitouttahere! order of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. The case was obliterated and arrived in pieces. It's a miracle the cover art wasn't affected. I had to switch the case out though. (I also got The Amityville Trilogy set from them and the slipcase was severely warped). I despise their heat-sealed packaging.

Thanks so much for the heads up! 6 copies left when I got there, so now there’s 5 copies left of Carrie/Carrie 2

So glad I could be of help! I've been stalking around myself... I actually nabbed Blacula from Diabolik because I signed up for the in stock notification emails and got one at like 1 pm a few days ago and got my order in for that and Dead of Winter. Now I did one more lurk over to see if any final titles came in and sign up for a few more in stock notifications and saw these titles so thought I'd share. I made sure to order my own copy of Swamp Thing before posting because that was one of the few left I was missing

It’s crazy how I randomly picked up Carrie/The Rage Carrie 2 last month for like $12. I own the UK version of Swamp Thing but that always hovered under $15...now I just got Invaders From Mars for $20 when I almost got it last year for $11...oh the power of pulling the trigger when something may be out of your reach after waiting so long haha. It definitely makes me think twice about passing up a good deal from now on.

Speaking of Invaders...considering it’s not a CE I was surprised to see it had a reversible cover!

Damn, missed Carrie / The Rage: Carrie II from Diabolik... I've still got an order of it pending from Barnes & Noble's marketplace via MovieMars though. It says shipped, but I never got a shipping confirmation or tracking notice from either party. So, I just sent an email asking for more info regarding my order status.

MovieMars also hasn't shipped my Walmart order of Disturbing Behavior yet.
I have a feeling that one isn't going to go through unless they randomly get more stock or something.

I just saw that Scarecrows and New Year's Evil were also discontinued--I missed that when I skimmed the list earlier. I had Scarecrows some years ago, but got it as a blind-buy and wasn't a fan, so I got rid of it. I still have New Year's Evil though. I am sort of surprised they haven't discontinued Ghost Town, which seems to be in a similar camp as those films (and also an MGM title).

Ghost Town is on the list to go OOP.

However, as it's been noted in previous posts, licensing periods for films end, and if the sales aren't strong enough to warrant licensing them again, they go out of print. So get them where you can before you have to pay exorbitant prices for them!

Has anyone had their copy of The Blob and/or The Devil Rides Out ship? I received a shipping notice from Shout on Tuesday, alerting me that a shipping label has been created, but there hasn't been any movement.

So since "The List" debuted, I've received Howling II, Blacula DF, Vampire's Kiss DF, Once Bitten DF, Terrorvision DF, Leviathan, Robot Jox, and am still waiting on I, Madman, Lady in White, and Without Warning.

Scream Factory wins for best marketing of Autumn 2019. These are all titles I've had in my cart for about a year, so I'm grateful for them lighting a fire under my proverbial a$$!

Still hoping I find a copy of Invaders From Mars and Ghoulies that may pop up somewhere...

If Scream is letting their license lapse for MGM titles, I am going to assume that Arrow will pick some of them up soon?

I'm currently nearing the completion of the stephen king portion of my 31 film horror marathon for this Halloween season and have been working my way through most all of his films chronologically (or close to it). Last night I watched The Mangler as I am well into the mid 90's right now. This was my first ever viewing of said film and I had only vaguest of ideas as to what I was going to be watching. Despite a run time that likely would have benefited from about 10 minutes more of cuts, this was an all around very fun film and a very solid presentation from Scream Factory.

I won't pretend that Nostalgia for this early - mid 90's pre scream, pre-abundant CGI era of horror film didn't greatly help my enjoyment of this film as it absolutely did. But even on its own merits this is a wacky, wonderfully off base horror film.

I will say that the audio did appear to be a bit on the quiet side again, though not quite to the level that it was on some of the other titles last year but outside of the slightly lower volume this otherwise looked and sounded great.

These are the kinds of releases that I often enjoy the most from Shout Factory. Slightly off the grid, filmed between 85 - 95, cliched but not in the least pretentious or meta. Just a fun horror tale with actors that gave it their best effort and a cast that clearly was having a good time.

If you are at all on the fence on this one I highly recommend it. This and Phantom of the Opera 89 have been some of my most pleasant surprises from Scream Factory.

Phantom '89 was an absolute joy when I first watched it a few years back. I think it's the best film verion of the story.

I haven't seen Mangler since '95 and I hated it then, but I can't remember much about it. Maybe I should revisit...

Thank God for these forums to notify of technical issues on blu rays that the reviews don't mention.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't consider the volume on this release to be a technical issue. It's just a bit lower than I am normally accustomed to. This is certainly not an issue to the degree that it was on Valentine, and it may not even be noticed by some other folks who don't use surround sound set ups. Typically I listen to most movies on my receiver around 45 - 50 at night and 55 -60 during the day. As I watched this both last night and this morning again (I feel asleep last night as I tried to watch this from Midnight to 2am after having already watched The Tommyknockers...) I had my receiver set for 70 today when I re-watched a the bit I fell asleep for.

In no way, shape or form would I consider The Mangler a botched release and there is no reason for anyone to think the audio is messed up.

I absolutely agree about Phantom and consider that a far better class of film than The Mangler. The Mangler has a lot of "bad film" tendencies throughout its 1 hour and 45 minute run time. It certainly deserves most of the criticism it has received over the years but as with a great many horror films time has done wonderous things for this one and it has a very timeless feel about it. I'd go so far as to say that for the first 35 minutes of the film or so I was left trying to figure out just when exactly this film was supposed to take place. It has elements of modern society (which is in fact when it's set) but also has aspects that reminded me of the classic "A Christmas Carol" set dressing/setting.

I'm guessing most review sites don't even watch the blu-rays they get and probably just skim the disc and that probably why they never say anything about disc problems.
