Rachel Getting Married Blu-ray

Sony Pictures has set a date for Rachel Getting Married on March 17th.

Awesome news. This, literally, was playing in my area for 1 weekend and then it vanished. I wasn't able to see it.

Is it the 10th or 17th?

Yeah...Anne was at the Oscars for this one....but besides that, the movie any good? Worth a blu purchase?

I really enjoyed the film and will be buying on blu-ray. Fantastic performance by Anne Hathaway.

I thought it was great and Anne Hathaway was amazing. But it's definitely not a movie for everyone. You might want to rent it first.

I'll be picking it up used probably. Really wanted to see it in theatres but I don't think it ever got a wide-release...
At least not around where I live

Bleh I will not buy blu-rays used, as much as they cost you want yourself to really be the only person who ever touches them. First day blind buy for me, well second day because I want Pinocchio more. :P

Hathaway is excellent. I liked the film when I saw it, but sort of forgot all about it. There's a good 15-20 films from last year I'd prefer to buy.

Including Happy-Go-Lucky, which comes out Tuesday, DVD ONLY!

we got it for rent at my work, so I'm waiting til tuesday to actually buy it.

I'd rather obsessed/adoring fans exist than ******* haters. Anne Hathaway has a pretty good record also so it makes sense to follow her movies.

This was an excellent movie for what it was: a searing look into the life of a recovering addict and the strain she puts on her family at her sister's wedding. Anne Hathaway gives a starmaking performance.

With all that being said, I think the real selling point for this movie on blu-ray is the film's music. For those that have not seen it, there are various musicians in attendance at the wedding, and they are constantly playing music over the few days leading up to the nuptials. So there is a constant soundtrack of eclectic music in the background which I'm sure will sound superb on blu.
