I've also ordered through them but have not gotten a cancellation. If they just randomly cancel on you rather than just saying it'll take a while to get it in stock, it'll be the last time I give them my business. I ordered from them because I'm a price buyer and I don't mind it coming a bit later.

It also makes little sense that they would cancel orders and yet still have the set up on their site for the same price it's been all along...so if it's a pricing error, they're sort of putting the cart before the horse, eh?

I watched my copy again and I noticed something different on the mono track that is present on the 5.1 track.

[Show spoiler]The scene after David kills his first victims (the couple arriving at the flat) when the owner of the flat steps outside to look for the couple and steps on the severed hand the "squishy" sound effect letting him know he stepped on the hand that I've always heard on the 5.1 isn't on the mono track. Was that just an added sound effect for the 5.1 track?

Yup. One of the many alterations that were done for the 5.1 mix.

It really does but than again I'm only comparing it to the botched version of the 5.1 mix with the lowered pitch.

Whilst I'll be sticking with the mono mix, I'm so glad to hear they've fixed that with this release!

Also check out the gunshots when the beasts gun down the family in David's nightmare. Totally different in the two mixes.

Well, I ordered the LE with DD on 10/14 when they had the 15% off coupon. I guess I was a little late for the party. Here is what their email said:

Ah, no worries. I talked to customer service at DD and straightened everything out. There was some kinda mix up and it was cancelled in error so the guy just had me reorder another copy at the same price I paid before. He said they have plenty of copies of this in stock, everything is OK.

Nice unboxing vid...didn't see one posted yet. Makes me even more excited for it. Arrow did a great job with it, although I would have preferred 2 discs with a disc just devoted to all the special features.
