If I could only listen to one rapper for the rest of my life, I’d probably go with Jay-Z.

I drop The Black Album, then I back out it
As the best rapper alive, n**** ask about me

Music business hate me cuz the industry ain’t make me
Hustlers and boosters embrace me and the music I be making
I dumb down for my audience to double my dollars
They criticize me for it but they all yell holla
If skills sold, truth be told, I’d probably be lyrically Talib Kweli
Truthfully I want to rhyme like Common Sense
But I did five, I ain’t been rhymin like Common since

thinkin' about tomorrow and what i'm gonna do. i'm off and have no plans. so i'll most likely just spend the day on the computer or watching some shows on prime; or maybe a movie or two.

got 3 days coming up later...(sunday, monday, tuesday)...and i'll spend at least one of those at my nieces house cleaning out her gutters and inspecting the eaves to see what needs to be done to fix the rotting. and then promptly fuss at her for not keeping the gutters cleaned out. she knows it needs to be done. even though she works a lot, all she has to do is tell me and i'll go over and clean them.

You would think reading comprehension would be higher on an internet forum that requires reading. That's what's on my mind.

In a purely frivolous move I purchased an Echo 5 thingy from Amazon. It's basically a glorified alarm clock but I've been wanting to replace my ratty old clock for some time so I guess it wasn't so frivolous. Not really sure I need it for anything else but I don't really know what else it does besides vocalize the time and temperature in a sexy voice, Oh, and it plays virtually any song you ask it to if you subscribe to their music service, which I did. I wonder if I can change the color of the screen. Anyway, it was a nice toy to grab and it's kind of cool to have.

Looking for pole saws online. My pole saw has a bent bar and will not cut anymore. I tried taking it apart and fixing it, but the chain continues to slip. I just came back from Sears, but they don’t have anything. Buying replacement parts would cost over $100, plus shipping. I might as well buy a new one.

Currently looking at Ryobi brand tools on Home Depot website.

if you have the video version, you can video chat with other people who have one. you both have to allow each other to connect to your respective devices (doing that is only for video chatting, they don't have control of your device, nor you theirs.) it's basically amazon's version of facetime/skype/duo.

i'm thinking of getting one and then getting one for my nieces and my sister.

plus, i can get rid of my old alarm clock (not that i ever use the alarm function, anymore) and have a better looking device with more options.

Just thinking how I'm going to make my next FB posts. I don't post a great deal on FB and when I do, it's normally nothing private or my own. I was going to do a 3-part post for my 2015 vacation. I've already used 66 pictures and I still have over a couple hundred to go. I'm not going to use every single picture I have left but I'll use quite a few. I took over 1,400 pictures but narrowed it down to 372 pics and from there, I'll post fewer still.

Now I'm just deciding if I should make it a 10-part post and use fewer pictures with each post. I really don't expect anyone to take the time to look through all 66 pictures of my first post.

Anyway, that's what's on my mind right now.

Amidst the decision to purchase/build a new home, my worst GD nightmare just came true...my boss of like the past 9 years, our fearless leader, just left our organization. I'm getting absolutely shitcanned tonight.

Thanks, man.

Nah, I wasn't worried about being fired, it was more that we're a rudderless vessel so to speak. It's an Associate Director position that was vacated, something that is not only too technical for me, but regardless of that, is not a job I'd want.

I think my concern is that with so much tumult and upheaval in the company as of late (ahem, the last five years), it's just a rough thing to accept. But, the sun also rises so...

Wondering why my goddaughter's mom can't make the 300mile drive up to see her own daughter? Why do I let myself get taken advantage of? Sorry if you aren't capable of taking care of kids, here's an idea, DON'T HAVE THEM! It was one thing when she was deployed, but now that she's back in state and finishing up her military career there's no freaking excuse for this. I've asked her countless times if she wants to cut all ties, that we can make it official and my wife and I will be more than happy to formally adopt the kid. Heck I've taken care of her her entire life, why not make it official? Its like she just wants the title of being a Mom without any of the responsibilities - does that make any sense?

ooh I'm jealous, that place looks nice!

A lot nicer than where I'll be spending my weekend anyway:

Controlled climate of -30*F (not me or my facility in photo)
