Scarface covered it. Little pain for games that support cloud saves. Just have to go download the latest one when switching consoles. I’m not playing anything that doesn’t support them currently, for things down the road that don’t support it I’ll just play only on the Lite as that’s where I do most of my Switch gaming.
For the primary console par, I made the Lite my primary since since I’ll travel with it etc. and will sometimes need to play digital games with no internet, while my base model will never leave the house again. |

I'm hoping to pick it up in a couple months, when I free up some space in my basement. By that point the reviews regarding durability should be in, which is one of my (minor) concerns.

I’ve seen people on YouTube throw it on the ground as a "durability test" — however it should be noted every one I saw had carpeted floors, so not sure how it will survive on hard wood floors.

Probably going to wait on a different special edition like darkness2918 mentioned, never got into Pokemon and not real excited about the other colors either. |

Don’t even need a MiFi controller anymore. An iOS update a while back added support for PS4 and Xbox One controllers to iPad, iPhone and Apple TV.

That’s cool, I thought it was only for Apple TV. Then again if I’m taking iPad plus Xbox One controller, I might as well just take the Switch instead. I do have a few decent games on mobile, and Apple Arcade apparently has some impressive games as well but I am not convinced on game subscriptions.

Switch Lite is definitely the best of currently supported portable gaming options. Regular Switch is second best. Vita, and especially 3DS, are the most portable if you didn’t already play all the games that interest you on those platforms and don’t mind playing older games with lesser graphics. |

If anyone is looking to get some more exercise I would highly recommend Ring Fit. This game/thing is no joke. It's super functional and the interface is slick, and I kid you not it gets me sweating like a pig after about 10-15 minutes. This was never on my radar as something I wanted on the Switch but after just a few days it's already something I feel like I can't do without.

Resident Evil Origins Collection is $30, will it likely go down to $20?

I was traveling for work and dropped my tablet when I got out of the car, half the touchscreen doesn’t work. If that wasn’t bad enough, I forgot it at the hotel (but they are mailing it to me). I made a pit-stop at the local Target and grabbed a Switch Lite, this is officially my new travel toy. Wifi-only until I get home and set it as primary but it’s pretty nice, d-pad seems a bit mushy but it’s fine.

I don't think it says on the console. Think you have to go to Nintendo's online website to see. If it's your secondary though, every time you start a game it says something like checking to see if you can play this game.

Yep. Easier way to check is disconnect from internet and see if you can launch any games you’ve bought digitally from the shop. If you can, then it’s your primarily. If you can’t, then it’s secondary as you have to be online to launch digitally owned games on your secondary Switch.

Does anyone have experience with the website Play-Asia? I have two questions.
1. Do Switch games ever go on sale there? 2. Do games get "sold out" and never return on the site? I’m debating if I should get a particular game now, or wait for a price drop. |

That is correct. The secondary Switch can only play digital games while connected to the internet. Piracy would be rampant otherwise as people could load up Switches, or SD cards, with digital games and sell them if there wasn’t an online check for a user account tied to the purchase

I gave up buying digital games because they're nothing more than an extended rental. Besides, I've stopped gaming as much as I used to and am casually enjoying Mario Kart Tour on my Samsung tablet in widescreen. |
