All I can say is that I love the games on my Touch. I can't see it as being a real threat to the sales of the PSP, but I, for one, sold my PSP because as far as playing games quickly on the go, the Touch does a much finer job. That's not to say the PSP doesn't destroy the Touch game-wise, but it's just more practical and dare I say more innovative to play them on the Touch. Here's a few of my favorites (all are very innovative and extremely fun):

Sway

X-Plane Extreme

Zen Bound

Rolando

I'm sure you can tell I'm a huge supporter of the iPod Touch!

I will say though, that for extended trips or what have you, the PSP beats the Touch hands down in every way.

Well you certaintly are allowed to hold your own opinion.. please ignore the lynching mob surrounding you and think only of happy thoughts.

I dunno Ive always really hated touch screen technology in general.. but thats a personal thing I dislike the idea of grimy fingerprints deflowring a screen...

Originally I felt the same way until I had the chance to mess with one for a while, and I was sold. A few wipes with a shirt sleeve will take off the fingerprints, and won't scratch the screen because it's glass.

Yeah, here on a Sony lovers' site, I'm definitely the minority. Before you lynch me, know that I love my PS3!

I will always hate touchscreens.. It probably doesn't help that Im a mild germ phobia.. and I can just imagine the 11 years picking there noises and smearing the snot accross the screens...

I get sick when I see them except the gas stations as they have buttons that are double redunency.

as for your post prior to that, i have to admit that i didn't read it, because it's prolly about something regarding the PSP and something else, and i'm spent on going on about it. i do apologize for that, considering it was directed to me.

if you are not willing to admit to yourself that the PSP is far behind in technology... then it's prolly better we don't converse in the matter.
also, if you can't admit that the iphone is a much better and useful gadget than the PSP altogether... yikes....

however, wether or not you feel that the iphone is a better gaming gadget than the PSP is subjective depending on hte games you like, but the fact of the matter is like someone else said, Sony does indeed have to keep an eye on apple and try and catch up when necessary.

also, i'm pretty sure the next PSP, if there is one, will be touch screen. i'm almost certain of that, and it will sell in greater margin than the currently available PSP, games or not.

Thats okay very little was about the psp actually 96% of it was about my computer in general actually, since I felt I left you hanging and was disrupted to offering you a reply...

I explained why I didn't buy the sound card which really you didn't give the benefit of the doubt on, on why I didn't bother.

Thats okay...

Ill you tell you something that I know to be truth the Iphone is much better phone then my phone.. I have a cheap Sony Ericson phone, its a walkman phone thingy...

Totally blows my phone out of the water in tech and everything else.

Now I feel you have decided my anti touch screen has something to do with Iphone in general.. hmm well no, I hate all Touch screen technology, in computer displays to laptops to well any device in general... Particular if I am to own the device.

Now my friend shani really loves touch screens alot he preaches about it regularlly and we usually get into useless discrussions.. about the technologies..

Since Ive never actually played with a Iphone ill give it the benefit of the doubt and assume all of what you say is true.. understand previously I thought you were talking about a Nintendo DS which ive personally felt to be a childs toy... personally..

Of course if you asked Carl he would say games were meant for children, and that we all stop acting liking children.

While what you say about a what if, I would deny that it would probably sell better but I would not be one of them.

Cheers..
