Now that I look at the whole bunch of threads I have to agree with Maxpower. All those threads suddenly started by the same guy plus the "politics in threads" thread in the off-topic section which was predictably locked, come on Bruce, what gives ?

i can sum it up pretty general: too much gore, not enough suspense (Ring, Orphanage >>> Hostel). Also, not allowing enough time for suspense to build up (Original Halloween >> Remake, where Carpenter had less than half the killings in double the amount of time).

You’re too kind.
I would ban anyone outright (no warning and permanent) that uses this forum to *act out* in regards to social interaction. It belittles the reputation of this forum and all of the socially well-adjusted membership.

This sort of misbehavior just reinforces the idea that many people who work in the industry think about “internet nerd forums”, namely………

1. They contain a lot of teenagers and pre-teens.
2. They contain a lot of adults with the maturity of #1.
3. They contain a lot of people that are unemployed (and were so, long before our current economic woes).

Or,
4. They contain people that are stuck in meaningless dead end jobs that have way too much time on their hands.

P.S.
And to the guy who thinks he knows what a badass is……have Bruce even indirectly test me and see what happens.
