What happened to Gareth Edwards after Rogue One?

Seriously where did he disappear to? He was on the up and up and then Rogue One happened and made over a billion worldwide and Edwards... vanished? He has no projects lined up according to IMDB. Now i am well aware there were certain issues during production/ post production on RO and than Gilroy was brought in to oversee reshoots and editing. I wonder to what extent this harmed Edwards' career. Lord and Miller screwed Lucasfilm over loads and cost them an absolute fortune with their Solo shenanigans and it hasn't harmed their career one bit, they went straight on to other projects.

Obviously there's a chance that Edwards was burnt out after the Rogue One experience but i'd love to know what actually happened. I loved Monsters and Godzilla and i enjoyed Rogue One. It's a shame to see 3 years later that he still does not having lined up. Does anyone know the truth or cares to guess?
