The 2 I bought today were Dunkirk and Overlord. (both used for $11.99 each .. .and both came with iTunes 4K copies)

I haven't seen either so I don't know if I should be judged yet... these were blind buys.

You could judge me by the rest of my collection though it needs updating. I do enjoy but good and bad movies.

I'm really hoping UltraHD Blu Rays are big on Black Friday this year because Black Friday is pretty easy in my town (and online of course.) Around here I can go to town at 9AM and most movie deals are still there.

p.s. ... I have no idea why when I buy used discs the codes are still active but I am thankful for it. So far every UltraHD Blu Ray I've bought used has come with un-used codes.

Wait, you bought them used? Don't you know that if you don't pay full price for them the studios will think that folks are not supporting the format and will fold it eventually.

My mute, fast forward, and chapter skip buttons have always allowed me to self-censor.

Options don't scare me; try harder, damn it.

Touché. The way you were going about it read like it was in the absolute as opposed to the exception. Thanks for clarifying.

Tsk tsk, we can judge you all the same.

I have both of those, too, but I have only seen Dunkirk. As I bought them also, you have my seal of approval for these two titles. What an honor!

Overlord was one of my favorites from last year. Great little horror movie.

I need to watch my copy.

I would, too, if I didn't get all of my scares right here in this thread.

No, I am giving you an example just in the last month to magnify just how far reaching it will be. This is nearly a one billion film and still it will be cut (song changed) for the home release.

Just bought that on Blu-ray. The opening sequence should be a great ‘surround’ workout.

I think the fear of censorship is certainly not one of my predictions. It’s been a ongoing concern for most film fans for a few years now, rightly so.

Have mentioned before but will repeat. For folks that enter a lot of UPC codes into their media data base may find this Android Lightning QR code Scanner useful. I scan the UPC, click copy contents and paste the number into Notes.

For digital codes with QR, just scan and follow the prompts.

Has that been confirmed by the studio - to the song change? I remember folks being shocked but nothing came of it yet.

More and more examples will pop up like this.

Disney did the same thing with the animated Aladdin. One of the original songs, as it was presented theatrically, was deemed to be disparaging to Arabic people. I think the song was removed before there were any home video releases.

How many times has 1915's The Birth of a Nation been edited over the decades? Several versions exist and there have been periodic calls to ban it altogether.

And don't even dare mention The Song Of The South; it is anathema to Disney.

I was referring to the Netflix option to skip specific political jokes during their stand-up comedy shows.

But I am against censorship, or should I say this type of "editing" lest another semantics battle ensue?

I already changed my post to be clearer as to what I was talking about.

It is an example of me censoring my discourse right before your very eyes.
