I wish we could get 85 inch OLEDS that won't cost a house to own.

I finally watched this for the first time and this was not only a fantastic looking 4K disc but the movie is extremely good. I'm so excited for Doctor Sleep!

Back says code doesn't redeem in 4K, but is it the new transfer in 1080p like the accompanying blu disc?

And yet, the 2.35 content will cover less content area than 1.85. Most of us will only have a single home theater from which to experience everything from Game of Thrones to Lawrence of Arabia. Panel doesn't seem viable for many more years. Image quality is more or less perfected, but size doesn't seem likely at real world prices.

It redeems in 4K in the US (At least mine did).

I believe the warning you have read only applies to Canada.

...with the understanding that The Shining is probably more Kubrick than King.
Don't know about the new movie...

This baby is going to go for $12.99 on Black Friday from Best Buy.

The small wait was beyond worth it.

Watched this last night and there were two moments (I don't recall the time stamps) where it appeared to skip a few frames. There was no audio loss, or freezing, just looked like it jumped ahead a quarter of a second.

Right?!?!?! My 65 inch OLED cost about the price a slightly used Kia. And that was 2 years ago. Imagine what an 85 inch would cost me today.

Give it a few years and the price won't be too crazy though.
