This is showing up on MUBI in Scandinavia right now. I think it already had its run on the US version, but I might be wrong. Don't know how it is in UK or other regions, I suggest people look it up if they are interested.
Either way, don't miss it. A mysterious, gentle and at times a little dreamlike Thai film that deals with identity among other topics. Many have said and will say that it is similar to Apichatpong Weerasethakul's stuff, especially because of the minimal fantasy elements and overall vibe (and maybe because both are independent Thai directors), which I can see, but it's not entirely a carbon copy. Recommended! |
