I'm just excited to see [B]ANY[B] RPG come to PS3. You have to admit there hasn't been much good in it's what 2 1/2 years of exisitance.

Folklore and Valkarie Chronicles (sp?) are about the only two I can think of...outside of numerous Final Fantasy trailers.

A PS3 Ar Tonelico would be great! The Mana and Atalier games have been too...low budget I guess for me. They feel like they are made in a weekend. I wonder if the PS3 game will remedy this and mayhaps have a budget greater than the cost to distribute the game...

I have both versions but the 1 thing that makes me prefer the PS2 version from last year is the soundtrack that came with it. I love how Nis and Atlus bring the soundtracks of the games to their newest releases like Ar tonelico, Mana Khemia, Atelier Iris, Luminous Arc, Legacy of Y's, and so on.

Default PS3 Alchemy Game Out This Summer

Quote:
As hinted at earlier, Alchemist role-playing series Atelier is making the leap to the PS3. The latest entry, Atelier Rorona, will be released in Japan on June 25.

The game will feature full voice — a first for the series — and 3D graphics. The artist is Meru Kishida.

The game's plot follows a novice 14-year-old frilly-lace-wearing alchemist named Rorona. In the game, it's possible to create approximately a hundred items.

The Japanese franchise commenced in 1997 with PlayStation title Atelier Marie ~The Alchemist of Salburg~. The games, best known for their alchemy mechanics, have largely appeared on the PS platform with a few games showing up on other systems like the Dreamcast, the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo DS.

Its not that I forgot it just not everyone likes Enchanted Arms. I know I play it all of the time but there is plenty who would say otherwise.

Awesome. looks nice. These are definitely the kinds of games the PS3 needs in Japan. I'm loving the music on the official site.
