The German BD looks good. Higher video bitrate too: https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&...=36744&i=0&l=0

Looking at DVDCompare, the Warner release has better audio and The SharkTank Redemption parody short film, but the ITV release adds 2 hours of interviews with the cast. So depends upon your priorities.

So is the newer darker cover version a better quality picture to the original ITV release, or are they pretty much the same? I see that the newer one has HD sound unlike the originals DD5.1.
Also, I recently spotted that the iTunes version of this that I bought is listed as 136 mins and yet the darker cover on iTunes is listed as 142 mins. On this site both blus are listed as 142, yet my blu states 136 mins on the back. Is the original release edited slightly? I didn't think PAL speeded up thing was an issue when it came to blu-rays, but maybe I'm wrong? |

You'd think this would be a no-brainer big seller on UHD.

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparison....php?fid=14302 I have the older US edition with a Dolby True HD track. The newer English disc has DTS HD MA track unlike the old ITV release which was lossy. Strangely the old ITV disc is also the only one which uses AVC as opposed to VC-1. I’ve never seen this though so I cannot comment on quality. |

Always interesting with films that have changed distributors for their production company/library, and then having Warner Bros print a Columbia TriStar poster.
I’m fine with my ITV Studios Blu-ray, don’t feel the need to upgrade. |
