‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ Release Date Pushed Back to November 2020

Kong hasn't grown tall enough to fight Godzilla yet.

Too bad but there are plenty of other exciting movies coming out in the meantime. I'm glad it's still scheduled for 2020.

Man, this sucks. I hope this makes the film better. The 1962 film was my favorite when I was just a wee tiny lad.

As long as they're hopefully using that extra time to polish the VFX to within an inch of its life and learn from the badly lit action of KOM, i'm more than happy to wait. KOM was badly let down by the slightly shoddy VFX combined with numerous dark scenes.

Adam Wingard has turned out to be an immense disappointment.

I absolutely loved 'The Guest', and thought 'You're Next' was campy fun with a cool soundtrack--but between 'Blair Witch', 'Death Note', and now this (which is likely production issues with the film) he's falling pretty hard.

I liked 'Death Note.' Haven't seen 'Blair Witch.' Adam Wingard is far from a disappointment.

And quite frankly, this sounds like Warner Bros. getting cold feet after the disappointing BO of 'Godzilla: King of Monsters' and on their way to f**k up yet another movie, like they did with 'Suicide Squad' and 'Justice League,' instead of Wingard doing anything wrong.

P.S.: 'King of Monsters' was great, and vastly underrated ( I thought it was an improvement over the first movie).

Wasn’t the third Fantastic Beasts originally supposed to be Nov. 2020? Filling in that slot with this makes sense.

Don’t care how long it takes them as long as the movie’s good, and I say that as someone who liked KOTM.

I'm okay with this. Whatever it takes to make this great and hopefully better than the previous films.

Damn, three big films in a row at the end of next year.

Yeah, 2014 got delayed for a fair bit and KOTM did too. It’s not a cause for panic, it’s SOP.

Jeez, all these people going "it's gonna flop!!!" because it was moved back a few months are idiots. This isn't a "New Mutants" type of situation here, people!

Also, KOTM ruled.
