Thanks for the update. It was expected that Marvel would move the Avengers, but I was thinking weeks, not months.

Yeah, this seems different than blinking first. This is an actual delay having nothing to do with Harry Potter. It makes sense from a financial standpoint as well as possibly over saturating the market with superhero movies. I still think it would have made more sense to have 2 movies in 2010 and 2 in 2011 rather than 3 in 2011 but there also could have been some concerns about hurrying Thor since it isn't even filming yet and doesn't have a cast.
