The Dark Force storefront has re-opened! Personally was hoping for discounted prices on The Gates of Hell / Psycho from Texas double bill and The Loners / Dragon VS. Needles of Death double bill but seems the only way to get it is in the $70 bundle with all the other double packs I already own.

Gates of Hell is now $30 and Loners is now $15

It's normal. All of my DF orders have sent out the same emails. Not sure about the third email being a shipping notification - I think it's just another version of the second email just worded differently. I get three emails from Diabolik whenever they ship something, which I think is utterly pointless.

Sounds standard... I have that happen when I use paypal from a few places... Once it ships expect another 1000 or so emails that it shipped.

Screams of a Winter Night

Ended up less than $45 after tax. Not bad.

I had the God's Bloody Acre double feature at half off but I waited too long and the price changed. Need that and Copkillers to finish my drive-in collection. Looking forward to finally checking out Screams.

Remember you guys, it's impossible to "save" money when "spending" money.

Waiting for a sale to buy stuff doesn't save you money, for two reasons, one you are still spending money, and two you are most likely to over spend and buy more than normal because it is "on sale".

I like that other marketing trick too, you buy one or 2 Blu rays and the total is 31.99 + 5 dollars shipping and the clever retailer states, spend 50 and SAVE, get FREE shipping.

I'll give a real world example of actually saving money.

During the work week buy a loaf of bread and some cold cuts, produce etc. For $25 bucks, eat that all week instead of spending 25-50 bucks a day getting takeout food, that will actually save you money.

Get a bag of coffee for 9.99 and brew that for a few weeks everyday instead of going into Starbucks or Dunkin or whatever and spending 6 dollars a day on takeout coffee, that will save you money.

Buying a bunch of Blu Rays will never ever save you any money, not one f'ing penny.
