what ever happened to the X-Men Origins: Magneto movie that was supposed to come out?

Yeah, no kidding! Maybe that'll be an executive decision based on Wolverine's success, which will likely occur...

I believe that is the case...at least that what I read in an interview with one of the Fox Execs last year.

Yeah, that's it exactly. The screenwriter (was it Goyer? Yeah, I think it was Goyer.) said they're waiting to see how the Wolverine spin-off does before officially greenlighting any future X-Men Origins movies. I think it's a safe bet that Magneto will be given the go ahead within a day or 2 of Wolverine's release.

I remember reading the interview, but didn't recall what you said about the Magneto movie...

not that it wasn't said, it just didn't stick with me for some reason...

The X-Men's Origins: Magneto has been an on again, off again affair. The latest is that they are waiting on Wolverine's numbers. I think it will definitely happen, but it sounds as though Fox is weighing it's options including a Fantastic Four and Daredevil reboot.

After seeing that Hulk Vs. movie, I don't want to see a Thor movie. lol

The Thor scenes in the Ultimate Avengers movies gave me an appealing perspective on what a Thor movie would be like.

I thought Avengers would get moved but a only like a few weeks back or forward so as to move away from Harry Potter that summer.

So Thor and Captain America are being released in the span of one month? If Thor tanks that could badly hurt Cap's movie. Marvel will soon be giving movies out to third-stringers like the Wasp.
