I’ve had a couple of parcels go missing this year from Arrow, and have had several telephone conversations with Anthony Newcomb as a result. Anthony looks after two e-mail accounts for Arrow, as well as all the social media outlets. Most of the time he seems overwhelmed by the number of issues he has on the go, especially during sale times. He’s certainly not laughing at our misfortunes. He has admitted to me, earlier this year, that their warehouse system is in chaos. Hopefully, once the warehouse move goes through, things will improve.

They've got one for Howling II, but no Day of the Jackal or Dead End Drive-In
Thanks for this. They're all available apart from the following.

Rabid
Salvatore Guiliano
Blind Woman's Curse
Nikkatsu Diamond Guys Vol.1

Fortunately, I downloaded the latter two when they were still available last year. Happy to email either of these on request.

Does anyone have the PDFs for Rabid or Salvatore Guiliano?

One of my Arrow Sale purchases arrived this morning 'Hitchhike to Hell (incl. booklet)' that was very quick shipping. Waiting on 'Donnie Darko LE' one of my favourite movies but missed the opportunity to grab this when originally released and not willing to pay eBay prices so nervous until it's in my hands.

So my Arrow order shipped but I cannot find the tracking anywhere. Anyone else having a similar issue? I mean tracked shipping was the ONLY option so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Fair point, mine shipped this morning but I paid no attention to it. Looking at it now, I'm in the same boat - no tracking number despite tracked shipping being the only option available.

For whatever reason, you have to email support for a tracking number instead of giving you it in the email. At least that’s what I had to do whenever I ordered tracking.

Confirmed. They're usually quite quick at emailing it back, though.

That’s super dumb. Why not just include it in the original email, then they wouldn’t have to deal with customers emailing them for tracking numbers.

Like this makes ZERO sense to me.

Regardless, I already sent them an email asking for it. Waiting for their reply.

10 of my 12 arrived today! Hopefully the other two show up tomorrow. About to watch 'Pieces' for the first time, I'm so excited! For those who've seen it, which cut should I watch first?

Hopefully you’ve had some movement on this. I finally had a reply at the end of the last week, and I’m pleased that my problem is now solved. The whole thing dragged out for over a month in the end.

I appreciate Anthony must be a busy guy, I’ve emailed Arrow a number of times, and he seems to be the only person replying to queries/problems, but that’s not a great excuse for making customers wait over a week for a reply, and not seeming to take matters seriously.

I certainly won’t stop buying Arrow products, but I don’t think I’ll be buying them direct again. (It’s not like I can just buy my Jissoji box sets elsewhere!)

Yeah, I never understood why they don’t include it in the shipping email like every other company.

I was told their website isn't configured for this.
I suppose there somehow is a missing link between their website ordering system and their warehouse's shipment tracking one which prevent allocating the tracking number to the proper order upfront. Hence why there is the need for someone to make the intermediate.

I'm glad that you got your problem resolved, it gives me hope that I'll get my situation resolved. I like Arrow's products, and this is the first time I've purchased items directly from them, so perhaps, in the future, I'll buy movies from another seller rather than Arrow directly.

That sheds some light on things, I wish Anthony had been a little more forthcoming about the situation on his end, so I didn't feel like his attempts to help me were half-assed. The breezy tone of his emails didn't help either, however, nut now knowing the circumstances behind his situation at the warehouse, leads me to be more patient and understanding now.

I received my order today in the US - had everything in the box except Pieces Limited Edition. I haven't received notice that it was cancelled...but I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet either (and I ordered within 30 minutes of the sale going live, and Pieces was still an option to buy at least an hour later as I recall). Was this an odd-sized release that might need a special shipping box? --Peter

I partly disagree with the quote in bolt. I don't think Anthony is a bad guy but still he often is answering the emails in a very lazy way. Because if he would answer all the questions in one email or make some decisions he could easily avoid a back and forth on emails.

This would also help his workload. But since it nearly always takes a week for his reply on follow ups it is always to late to change something or take same action.

And to just blame the distribution center is not right in this case.

I am in contact with him for over 3 weeks now and it's still not solved in any way. And this was between the sales.

To be honest I miss Nicole. She was always straight forward and got things done.

Sadly now I am also thinking about order my Arrow stuff somewhere else in the future.

So I just received a dispatched notice for my Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas August preorder. Back then, I had the option to choose the standard delivery, so Ι don't think that they will go with the tracking one.

I think they're fulfilling the ltd. edition orders last. I ordered Phenomena ltd. edition separately to the rest of my order and it shipped yesterday when the rest of my order shipped Saturday and arrived Monday.
