The Viking Queen
The Anniversary (Bette Davis)
The Vengeance of She
The Lost Continent
Shatter

It would be nice if Shout could hatch deals with Sony and Universal, then many more could follow.
Anchor Bay also put out Prehistoric Women and The Four-Sided Triangle. Plus, the non-genre Hell is a City, but still under their "Hammer Collection" banner.

I still don't really know how I feel about the Bones announcement. On one hand I'm weirdly excited as it could be the sign of things to come and it's always nice to see new to blu ray releases. On the other hand, It's Bones. I believe I only ever watched the film once and was not impressed. That said, my one viewing would have been shortly after its release and my willingness to watch bad films has grown by leaps and bounds. More than that though, this is likely going to be yet another example of how time does wonders for Horror films. Now that we are nearing the films 20th anniversary and far removed from where we were when the film was released, I can't help but wonder if I won't like it much more simply because of the fact that it represents a small blip in time when I was in College. I'm sure I'll buy it eventually... but it's definitely low on the want list.

This is totally unrelated to Scream/Shout, but does anyone know what happened to the Kino Lorber thread...?

I would not carve that in stone just yet.

ISLE OF THE DEAD was due to low sales on previous similar titles ( BODY SNATCHER ) from what I read.

SHE will probably be an Archive release.
CURSE needs heavy lifting Warner's has zero interest in doing themselves, so expect it from someone .....else.

I'm not convinced Scream will release all of these, but I'd say 3-4 have a good chance.

I like your optimism. Fingers crossed we see Feardotcom soon!

Technically, that's just a speculation based on the Shock Waves Podcast Episode 154, where Scream Factory guys revealed some of their recent undersellers.

I'd love to see Surviving The Game on Blu-ray; I remember stumbling on the title on DVD when I was browsing my local BuyBacks store (they're out of business now) and I kicked myself for not buying it then...

Horribly underrated flick in which all stars were at the top of their game (no pun intended) -- Busey, Ice, Hauer, Dutton...

Also important to bear in mind that they still released The Leopard Man 3 months after The Body Snatcher.

I honestly don't believe what happened with Isle of the Dead was due to disappointing sales of past Lewton titles. Scream release so much, it's hard to see where underwhelming sales of titles along a similar vein have deterred them from putting out similar (or linked) content. In this case I suspect there was an issue with the materials, and since Warner would be responsible for this, and tend to be rather particular about quality, the matter has very likely been taken out of Scream's hands for the time being, hence why they were unable to offer a concrete timeline as to when it might eventually appear.

Shout could end up really killing it next year if they've made another decent Warner deal. Together with Paramount, it could be a very exciting year for them.

Totally forgot about Bones and definitely a surprise release that I'll be buying. I see feardotcom announcement coming shortly because it really doesn't seem like something Warner Archive would release.

This.

It's been decades...it didn't even receive a DVD release.

As for the “Looking for Mr. Goodbar” saga. Substitute the songs in legal limbo and screw the music rights owners. If it is the only way to get this released then the hell with the greedy bastards. I’d settle for a modified release at this point.

I may (will?) cry if they announce Deadly Friend or Red Eye. My Craven collection needs some upgrades!

I'd easily get Feardotcom, the Jacket (even though I have the French Blu), and the Hills Run Red as day one purchases.
