Because light scratches and small dings are not noticeable in matte finishes. Once you gloss it then they become noticeable. This is based on my experience because I gloss all my matte steelbooks.

Of all the Best Buy Steelbooks to not have titles on them, this one would've been perfect. Could've served nicely as a combined Steelbook for both IT movies.

It didn't seem like anyone liked this movie but yet I can't find the steelbook available at any Best Buy near me. It doesn't make sense. Do stores not show availability the night before the release date? I really need this steelbook but couldn't order it right away.

My steelbook just arrived. The package was beat to hell, probably one of the worst conditions I've ever received a package. Fortunately, it was a considerably large box for just one movie, so that was still in good shape.

Best Buy split up my order. One arrived via post office and the other arrived UPS, but they both arrived today.

I agree, those pics do look a lot better than the previous ones posted and it does have the same inner art as the site it's just very dark and not all black

Wonder if a few more will be available for ISPU here in a few minutes! I have one reserved at a further location just in case more don’t open up but would rather find my nearest store which is 2 minutes away.

I was able just now to switch my ISPU to a closer location that had been not available for the last month or so
