So this doesn’t seem to be carried in any physical stores... So annoying. didnt pre-order on Amazon because I assumed an Oscar nominated film would make its way to Best Buy, etc.... grrrrr

Yeah but, 5-7 yrs ago literally almost every Best Buy would have the Blu-ray in-store. B&N would too, but they just seem to be carrying the DVD. LAME.

It was in multiple theaters near me for quite awhile and is still playing in one. I’m sure Parasite will have a lot of stock next week at Best Buy, they could’ve had a couple copies in each store. There are people who will buy foreign language films if it’s available to them... not even Barnes and Noble has the bluray except one store 100+ miles from me

B&N is so weird with DVD they carry DVD only for a lot of titles... It sucks that Best Buy seems to not even care about selling movies anymore. most of the stores near me have it dwindled down to one row and a new release display and the same budget discs they seem to always be selling

Yeah, I dnt get B&N either. You'd think that at least for the newest movies, they'd try to have those on Blu-ray....but it seems like they mainly only have DVD now for all the Sony Picture Classics. Just 2-3 yrs ago when Julieta came out my local B&N had the Blu-ray on release day.

FWIW, I preordered this on Amazon and it still hasn't shipped. Its estimated delivery is early next week. There might have been a distribution problem. Maybe B&N will have these in stores next week. It would be very unusual if they didn't have it in stores eventually.

That sucks. I ordered mine yesterday morning after realizing I couldn’t buy in store. It shipped yesterday and is scheduled for delivery today. Who knows with amazon sometimes

There are some non region A box sets but not up to date really. I think with All About My Mother being released, people are expecting some more releases from Criterion

The PQ on the bluray looks gorgeous. This would have been stunner on 4K with Dolby Vision/HDR
