jtk, just ignore them.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll Now. I have a question about codecs. I tought AVC was not yet available in any of the current BluRay authoring software. Any idea what authoring system Disney and Fox are using to do it ? |

In other words: A lot of these studios are trying to get away from MPEG2 sooner rather than later. Example: http://www.homemediaretailing.com/ne...rticle_ID=9606 Quote:

I personally believe that the answer to 'where are all of the Disney and Fox movies' question is that they were waiting authoring tools for advanced codecs. The specs on the Fox titles are fascinating!
I just hope that they do better than the Japanese Virtual Trip AVC HD DVDs - they are on a par with Fifth Element... ![]() |

And I thought Fox would make a hundred of incrementally better versions of Star Wars. They might do it right the first time.
