HDMI Cables: How do you tell which ones are 4K?

The box usually states if the cables are 4K compatible on the front.

Unfortunately that's not enough, as I found out myself.
If you want 4K60 ánd HDR you need a cable that has a bandwith of 18Gbps.
Usually they are labelled as Premium High Speed.

I had some cables that were able to display 4K, but nót with 10-bit colour and HDR. I tested the cables on my Denon receiver and indeed they failed the 4K60 test.

Don't fall for expensive bullsh*t cables from the likes of Monster and such.
Amazon has plenty of cheap and capable cables.
