Justed watched "planes".

Had aready seen it on HBO 3D so familiar with the film. 3D was good especially when looking downwards high up in the sky, but overall lacked ingenuity. Of course, a rework of" cars" which didn't help make the film more entertaining since story line and characters were already done on four wheels.

Finally got around to watching "Parasite". This was the last in my current marathon and will retire my 3dTV for a while and start collecting 3d for another marathon. Found the film to bit a bit schlocky and cheesy but enjoyed it anyway. Always been a SciFi fan since the '50's and that was the golden age of schlocky SciFi. The 3D was outstanding! But then I'm always partial to native 3d, and I don't have any trouble with the sometimes weirdness. All in all, I'm glad I saved it for last!

Watched TMNT. Surprised how entertaining the movie was and the 3D was very good.

Watched "The Nutcracker 3D"

Mild to good 3D depending of course on the scene.

Read beforehand about the references to Nazi Germany and when it first came up thought critics were referring to the grey German uniforms. That didn't bother me. But then came certain segments intended to be integral parts of the "fairy tale" that paralleled Nazi atrocities. Mind you, I'm a big fan of reverent humor and often participate in what would be certainly called politically incorrect today (as long as we all laugh together and at each other and no personal offense is intended). But even that drew the line for me.

It otherwise ruined what I thought was a charming film. I still think overall it was well done but those portions - well, unless they were meant as political messages (which children would not comprehend) or reminders not to forget the past, they were insensitive.

Wonder what expressionism was behind this thinking.

Watched Independence Day Resurgence. Special effects, 3D and especially audio were great. If you are a bass lover the alien ship low frequency rumble was impressive. The movie was not terrible.

Was just about to post this myself.

Expected weak 3d from critic reviews but thought it looked brilliant in 3d, even the montage on the credits lets you know how good it will be

Hi Okie and Evil,

Resurgence did not deserve the bad reviews it received. I loved it and was wowed by the 3D. It was a fun sequel.

One good thing, when they pan a movie it seems to sell at a much lower price. I guess the demand is down.

Ordered Captain America Civil War and Prometheus. Both were good deals. Prometheus was used and Civil war was only $10 new.

We just watched Julia X.

Reference quality 3D. Just like Yogi Bear is. But there is a slight difference in story lines.

Sometimes it seems the better the 3D the worse the movie!

Last night I watched my imported-from-the-UK 3D copy of "The Force Awakens" (excellent 3D!) in prep for seeing "The Rise of Skywalker" on Tuesday in IMAX 3D at a local AMC theatre (two near me screening "Skywalker" for possibly two-week, one-a-day afternoon 3D IMAX showings. Tonight (Saturday) I will watch "The Last Jedi" (also on my UK 3D import) and, as I said, I'll see "Rise of Skywalker" Tuesday afternoon when the final frenzy of Christmas shopping is occurring!

Watched Ghostbusters. Good 3D when it covers the letterbox panels. Movie was ok especially if you try not to compare to the original. Also watched in 4K and the 3D is a much better watch!

Anyone who hasn't given in to getting a region free player (being stubborn like I was) might consider so just to get "Tarzan the Legend Lives".

Forget about what the critics said, including the 4.2 rating on IMDB or one reviewing the 2D Blu-ray for High Definition Digest who panned the story but sensed the film was made for 3D (he was wrong about the adaptation but correct about the video he couldn't see).

Up until a few weeks ago I never even heard of the movie and then read those many negative reviews. So if I sound over enthusiastic it's because i was so surprised. To me it was an exhilarating piece of animation with a great story line, motion capture acting, DTS Master Audio and simply delightful in 3D (an extra feature on the motion capture included finalized scenes shown flat; inadvertently that also demonstrates what is lost without 3D).

Though will not say it is reference quality, "Tarzan the Legend Lives" is certainly a must for the 3D collector. It's also a shame that it was not made available for those in North America - another black eye on the industry.
