The question is will the Blu-ray’s be the older transfer and the UHD’s be the newest transfer (what’s shown on Disney+)?

Why do they have to include the blu rays of each film when there's a blu ray boxset already due to come out

Many already have Episode 8, no need to pay twice. Plus the packaging of the set tends to damage discs, resulting in repurchase.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but if they're using the same masters from Disney+, the original three films and the prequels are going to look like shit.
Just make sure you all have your expectations in check in case they go that route. The lack of any real HDR didn't bother me, but there's DNR and EE galore. |

Highly Doubt Disney will offer, let alone even bother to put the remastered versions of any film from Disney+ on a regular bluray disc. They're most likely going to be the older 2011 discs like usual.
Disney is not known for remastered blus. |

But they did release remastered DVDs when they first released the Star Wars movies on Blu-ray. So it could go either way.

They did remastered Blu-rays for The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. There's no reason to think they won't do it for Star Wars. Especially since the old release wasn't even done by Disney.

The singles will go on sale eventually. And by eventually I mean as little as two months, as in the most recent example. These box sets have become largely pointless. They exist to make money off of day1 people. Otherwise you can simply buy the individual movies that you want, and for much cheaper. |

Yes, but not the disney sets. And especially not Star Wars.
The bonus features are usually the biggest draw. They get released once and never again. That's why the Infinity Saga exclusive was ridiculous. That one outlet was the only way to get that one bonus disk. And it still didn't have the all the Phase 3 bonus features. To have everything for phase three, you need to import Far From Home, Phase 3 part one and phase 3 part 2 in addition to infinity saga |
