After viewing several movies (and in light of this week's "Race to Witch Mountain"), I am happy to say that after a long struggle, I am now able to tell Vin Diesel's roles apart from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's:*

Johnson is the one who posses an actual sense of humor about his career.

(* - Okay, quick, which one was in Disney's "The Pacifier", and which one was in "The Game Plan"? )

The first one was interesting, but the second one just plain dumb. If they are going for #3, kinda hoping they go back to basics.

Now, where is my Alien 5 ????? James Cameron, Ridley Scott, would you mind? While Sigourney is still alive, please

I liked Pitch Black well enough, but I really loved Chronicles, and have been waiting a long time for news of a sequel.

There's also this article, in which Vin Diesel mentions TWO more sequels.

Default Dark Fury

You guys are missing out on the fact that Vin already has a third one of the Riddick movies out...Dark Fury. It's anime. It takes up right where Pitch Black left off. And Vin is the voice of Riddick in that one, too. It's not on BD but it is on DVD. I just got done watching all three of them. Chronicles makes more sense if you watch Dark Fury. And cool to watch all three in one sitting. They need to make DF on BD, too.

Another Riddick film would work for me. I liked Pitch Black more for the longest time but after a few extra viewings of Riddick I think its a little closer. The sets in Riddick look so detailed, more going on, you have more to digest. Riddick 3, bring it on.

After all, Chronicles of Riddick was new and innovative compared to Pitch Black.

What's is innovative about a second sequel? It's a way of cashing in on the first two. It's recycling the same character. It's far from innovative.

Doesn't change the fact that they're still trying to cash out as much money from this as they possibly can.

Then why do you have sequels in your collection?

Why wouldn't I? Simply making a statement that Hollywood is trying to cash in on the success of the Riddick character doesn't mean that I don't like sequels. Well, some I like more than others.

If I didn't want to give Hollywood my money, I'd never have bought one blu-ray in my entire life.

I would say it wouldn't be a sequel but a pre-quel. According to the film..there is some 30 years of events that happened before the Chronicles movie about why the Necromongers were afraid of him. And even though the Chronicles points out some of it, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. I can't really see another movie picking up from the end of Chronicles? But then would Vin play a young Riddick?

I have both of those on DVD. I remembered liking The Pacifier but now it's unwatchable for me... TGP was pretty good though. I probably like more Diesel movies as a whole then Rock's but there both quality to me.

Okay, smartypants, so which one was in "Babylon AD", and which one was in "Doom: the Movie?"

Lightning round: "Walking Tall" remake, Vin or Rock?

Nice, I know I'm in the minority but thought Pitch Black was alright and really like Chronicles. This will be on my radar for sure.

I know he's an overall a bad actor but I can tolerate him in Pitch Black and Fast & Furious.

I hope that when the next Riddick movie comes out they have better names for things. When me and my friend saw Chronicles of Riddick, we were laughing at how horrid the naming process was. Furians (Furious people at least Riddick was), Creamatoria (burning planet), and tons of other examples. It just seemed like they had somebody with absolutely NO imagination naming things.

Vin may as well do another sequel.....just to resurrect probably one of his more famous 'name' roles.....just so he can be like Stallone...Ford...and Willis. What the hell, might as well cash in just like they probably did bringing back their 'name' action characters.

I happen to have liked both Vin films. Nothing great, but fun to watch.

No Alien 5. Sorry to disappoint. First 2 are great. 3 was okay. 4 was aweful.

Last I heard there are no plans for a 5th movie and Sigourney said she wouldnt do another one.

But anyway, yes please another Riddick movie. As long as it's not as silly as Chronicles.
