I had no idea that A Hidden Life was playing currently playing around here. My mom and I tried to see Knives Out twice and it was nearly sold out. We couldn't get good seats either time so we passed. She has seen it already and really liked it so had no problem seeing it again. I'm not sure how long A Hidden Life has been playing in Saratoga but I would have loved to have seen that one with her. I'm very big on movies about self-sacrifice and I think August Diehl is a fantastic actor!

Still thinking about the watch. A Bulova one caught my eye that was on sale for about $385 I think. I was looking at it last night and saw that the end of the sale was 12/24 but I was hoping that was inaccurate. Sure enough, it's back to its normal $595 price. I can get 20% off if I order online (Macys.com). I don't think I'll let myself buy it but I have been known to let myself do dumb things at times

i was thinking or ordering the jurassic park set on 4k. but i might as well wait until the next movie comes out. i'm thinking it'll be the last one (3 for each, ya know...?). so i might as well for it to be released and buy the box set with all 6 of them.

I'm thinking of switching from the Apple universe to the Android one. Apple used to be easy to work with, but I struggle too often now and think change should happen.

the ticket isn't easy to read. I've seen switching from Android to Apple but not reverse. i use both but not the same system. I only use macs and ipod while using an android phone and a fitbit.

That seems confusing and what I want to end.
I just spent a long time trying to upload a video to Youtube, but finally got it. It used to be easier, just drag n drop.
I think, but not 100% yet, that I'd like to make things easier by making the whole thing android. Tv, computer, phone, whatever else, all one domain.

i changed from an iphone to an android-based phone. i wasn't married to apple/iphone, but i did like it (iphone 3 was the first smart phone i ever had). i progressed through 3 other iphones when i decided to switch to an android phone (samsung galaxy s8+). i really liked it. it took a couple days of playing with it to get used to it. but after that it was easy. i never had any issues with it (same as any iphone i had).

now i'm back to iphone. why? because i don't like what google is doing.

regarding computers, i've always owned a windows machine. i've never owned a macbook or an imac...although i wouldn't mind owning one. i've used them, so i know how good they are; but i've never owned one. that being said, i've never really had any bad issues with any computer i've ever owned (other than a hard drive failing...and that can happen in ANY computer, winows OR mac). and the reason i started with windows is because i was big into gaming. back then, macs weren't known for gaming. so it just made sense to go with windows. but today, i wouldn't mind owning a macbook pro.

all that said, i can understand wanting to have all of your electronics be within one architecture. it should make things much easier. and i'd never fault anyone for wanting to do that. ease-of-use should be a top concern when it comes to stuff like that. and having everything within the same family just makes things easier.

So my brother gave me 50 dollar best buy gift card for Christmas and trying to figure out used it on a complete tv series like fresh prince of bel air or wait used it on something else next month
What you guys think wait or go ahead used 50 gift card on something?

I had a $50 amazon gift card which I was thinking of waiting to apply to a Turbo Graphix 16 mini but decided to use it when I saw Nadia: Secret of Blue water at a good price and not many copies left.

I couldn't hold it. maybe you can but the Turbo is coming like in March or something in my defense I don't think I could wait that long.

I promise I won't post about watches again until I pick one. But daaaamn, I'm just looking at Macy's website with several filters in place and they have a lot that catch my eye. Right now I'm looking in the $1-$600 range. Have a feeling the watch I get will be closer to $1 than $600

go to walmart. stay away from macy's everything is so gorgeous it hurts to look at. at least its not one of the higher stores which I can't remember that's above macy's

Wearing a watch these days makes about as much sense as buying porn on physical media. Since everyone has a cell phone attached to their faces, why wear a watch when you can just take a quick glance at the time on your phone while you're updating your facebook status or taking selfies in front of the bathroom mirror. And everything is digital today. You just need to walk 5 feet to the nearest parking meter or check your ATM receipt if you want to know the exact time

i guess i'm the oddball, then; i wear a watch, daily.

i don't have my phone attached to my face (it stays in my pocket until i need to send a text or make a call)
i don't do facebook (or twitter, or instagram) or take selfies
i don't go anywhere near parking meters (the nearest one is maybe 20-25 miles from me)
and i don't use the atm
