Yes Tales is a Creepshow spinoff show and shares the same universe as Creepshow 1 2 and Creepshow the series.

Plus from Laurel, George Romero and King and the movie is the true Creepshow 3 better than the godawful in name only Creepshow 3 which was a soulless horrible moneygrab that only took the name of Creepshow as a cash in title.

Speaking of Creepshow 3, i hope Scream doesn't release a blu-ray of Creepshow 3 aka the second worst film i've seen next to August Underground, The Visit and more. No one would buy a piece of shit like Creepshow 3 but maybe for a coaster.

Somehow I think it may be a slow process.

And I know some people hate this, but maybe as a pilot SCREAM releases something like ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK in 4K in a limited run of 5,000 or so to see how it sells.
Just a thought, trying to get creative so these indy labels can dip their toe in the 4K waters without taking a possible huge loss. I'm sure many here would support them.

Shout Factory has already dipped their toes into the 4K waters given they've released 12 documentaries on UHD. I see no reason why Scream Factory would have any issue with UHD releases if they chose to go down that path.

Vinegar Syndrome released Tammy and the T-Rex on UHD about a month ago and they currently have four more UHD releases scheduled for this year.

Okay, besides these "documentaries", let's see what Shout/Scream can do with some real movies. Tammy and the T-Rex was a great groundbreaking 4K UHD release for VS! Let's hope this trend continues!

Don't they just distribute those IMAX docs? If so, I'm not sure Shout has anything to do with the decision to release them on UHD.

This isn't exactly Scream Factory related but I figured I'd mention it here as it will likely get the most exposure this way and I'd hate for my fellow Horror/Yuzna fans to miss out... One of my longtime wants on BD has been Brian Yuzna's "Necronomicon" from 1993. I picked up the Region B French release a while back but just tonight learned that Wicked Media released a 3 disc All Region Mediabook edition of the film this past November. Upon learning of this release I figured I'd likely have missed out as they authored 3 different covers of the release, each limited to 333 copies. The far superior covers B and C have sold out but as of this writing their are 40 copies left of Cover A for anyone looking to obtain a copy of the film (having sold 5 copies, 1 of my own included, in the last few hours). I'd never ordered from Wicked Visions Media until tonight, but I decided to take a chance and the total shipped from Germany was $38.50.

Anyone interested I'd encourage to grab a copy while you can as these likely won't last long nor will they likely see a repressing.

I did buy the German release, and as shitty as people claim it is, it's as good as half of what I see people drool over on these forums, or beg for a future release of... so...

How many people broke their necks to grab Garbage Pail Kids when they found out it was going OOP, for instance? lol

Lol. While I did scramble to grab several titles that I’d put on the back burner after the OOP FRENZY OF 2019 began, GARBAGEPAIL KIDS was certainly not one of them.

I saw Garbage Pail Kids today at a used store for $10, and I still had no desire to buy it...

I would have snatched it up at that price. $17.99 or less was my price on that one. I haven't been paying too close of attention but thus far I haven't found a copy for that price. $10 would be a steal.

I pre-ordered Bloody Valentine and Bones from amazon.ca last week. Hoping the price drops before release because $30 a piece is steep. If prices don't drop I might have to cancel. My movie buying isn't what it used to be.

***LIMITED EDITION RE-PRESS ALERT***

Happy New Year to everyone! We hope you had a nice break and are looking forward to 2020. We have some exciting Collector's Editions, "hidden gems" and more surprises all year long. Later on this week, we'll start announcing our April releases.

In the meantime we wanted to let you know that we have re-pressed our prior Blu-ray release of DEATHSTALKER & DEATHSTALKER II and have made another 1,000 of them. As some of you may recall, we sold out of this limited-edition pretty quickly back in 2016. Since then, we've received many more requests to put this back into circulation. After many discussions here, we're pleased to be able to bring it back!

The product is built and is ready to ship now exclusively on our site!

Announcements start 'later this week'? If they don't get a move on Amazon will beat them to the punch again.

I suspect the two Arkoff films that leaked on certain sites will probably be among them, given that they've now been removed from Amazon.

It would help if we knew what we were getting with My Bloody Valentine; we're nearly a week into January and we still don't have a clue as to what the specs/bonus features are.

Get it together, Shout.
