Just checked on Groundhog Day UHD and yes it's not available on Amazon directly just marketplace sellers and Best Buy says sold out. It could be OOP and that would be unfortunate but I bought it when it was a BB exclusive and I am glad now.

When initially released I believe Shout Factory questioned the long term viability of the films and so chose to release them in a limited run of 1000 copies. 4 years later and they've decided to re-release this double feature in another 1000 copy run thanks to fan demand. They may print more but personally I wouldn't wait to see. If this is something folks want I'd buy sooner rather than later. This wasn't a high priority title for me and since I had missed the initial run I had written it off, but with this reprinting I decided to grab a copy so as not to regret it later on down the road.

Is it just me or is Mayhem 4K (the movie with Samara Weaving) slowly going OOP? Best Buy and Walmart no longer sell it suddenly (well Walmart does, but it's another retailer selling it on there and not direct from Walmart anymore). Amazon still has copies for a somewhat reasonable price so that's the only thing stopping me from saying it's full OOP yet, but even eBay is scarce of copies of it

Didn't want to take any risks here myself as I didn't see any US releases on eBay, OOS at Best Buy, and I don't trust Amazon when they say 1-2 months as I've been burned before (and it's not even listed from the as of this posting). Got a used copy locally for $13 w/ digital. Can't beat that.

If Amazon still has stock, then it's definitely not OOP or even going out OOP. Amazon says it has 17 in stock with more on the way, which would indicate a new batch getting pressed (or just got pressed but haven't made it to distributors yet).

If we brought up every release that was only available at some retailers but not others, we'd have an endless and wildly inaccurate list of titles. For example, plenty of Criterion titles are not available direct from Amazon at various times but are from other retailers. Does that mean they're slowly going out of print? No. It just means that some retailers currently have stock while others don't. For a niche 4K title, this shouldn't be a surprise.

The review here for the 4K video quality isn't too great.
