Supposedly, he was an extra in Frank Sinatra's last film The First Deadly Sin (1980). There's a scene in a corner bar and Bruce passes by the camera in the foreground. You can only really see his chin, but it definitely looks like him.

Those crappy soaps are like a training camp for Aussie actors. NZ has one as well, pretty much any internationally-known Kiwi actor was probably on it at one time.
