Jealous of the Obsidians. I took L’s on every site, raffle and local store. So I found the starfish/shattered backboard mids and royal lows to try to make up for it. Still bummed, but I can’t pay resale.

I'm with you on that, I never pay above retail for... anything, really. I entered a bunch of raffles, won 2 in my size and woke up at 8 and got a size 9 on Eastbay to sell later to hopefully pay for my other 2 pairs. I was happy I was able to get em because they are the only 1 I wanted this year. Probably on the same level as PSG6s as favorite shoe of the year.

I have over 100 pairs of shoes, I am about to slow down quite a bit next year though... running out of room. My walk in closet in the guest bedroom is where everything is stored, with the exception of a few pairs that I leave at my mother's house in IL for when I visit.

You navy Johnston & Murphy Carson’s make me want to buy a pair of navy dress shoes. If they’re still available in navy, I’m tempted to buy a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues in that color but with navy welts and heels (my suit is navy as navy is my personal favorite color for a suit).

I’ll post my shoe collection with my dark brown Allen Edmonds Park Avenues (which have dark brown welts and heels that often look black even though the uppers always look dark brown) as soon as I have the chance.
