I'm still a bit confused... so people can watch the Director's Cut [bonus on Vudu] in 4K HDR if they are streaming it straight from the Vudu app on their tellys, correct?

I purchased Doctor Sleep and The Shining combo through iTunes. Both movies including the DC are in 4K Dolby vision in iTunes but in Vudu and MA they appear as HDX or HD only. WTF is this about? Oh and no atmos sound on the DC either.

The top part looks great, but what the hell is going on with the person 'running' on the bottom. Looks more like they captured someone doing a robot dance.

I would just buy it from Vudu or iTunes. I’ve had problems synching my stuff with Fandangonow. I’m also not sure if Fandangonow includes the Director’s Cut as an extra like iTunes and Vudu do.

Fn does include it. I just like that they don't have sales tax like vudu.

The Theatrical Poster of Older and Younger Dan looked better and to me should've been the cover of the Blu ray.

Otherwise the Theatrical poster and the "Redrum" Face poster were the best to me.

I don’t trust Fandangonow on past experiences from me and others. IMO the buck and change of tax you’d save isn’t worth it, but it’s your money.

The blu-ray is listed as a 2 x BD-50, but the UHD is only 1 x BD-100, 1 x BD-50. What happened to the second disc of the BD set, did we get robbed of the director’s cut or a disc of extras?

The director's cut is on the Blu-ray and the extras as well, and the theatrical version is on the 4K UHD disc. The size of a disc really doesn't mean nothing.

Yes, I know the DC is on the Blu-ray and not the UHD, but since the product description for the BD-release says it’s a 2 disc set, one would assume one disc is DC and one disc is the theatrical cut with extras, or that one disc has both versions and one disc has the extras. Two discs for the blu-ray set ok.

The UHD only lists 2 discs, one disc is the UHD with the theatrical version obviously, and the second a BD.

My question is, which one of the two discs from the BD set are included in the UHD set? We don’t get both, it’s not a 3 disc set. So one disc is missing, what do we miss out on?

I'm sure it follows the old rule that screws everyone.

If a bundle ends in .99, Movies Anywhere transfers the films with only HDX rights.

If you bought them separably, they would transfer as 4k.

I noticed how quiet the murder scene is in the extended cut and has less cuts too.

The one scene where young Danny looks in the mirror seemed kinda out of place.
