After "Dawn of the Dead" I would like to have the second best zombie movie in equivalent 4K quality

a private source working in film preservation told me Second Sight is currently looking for Day of the Dead film elements in South Africa. I believe they already did a blu. Maybe they are working on a 4k release? I'm only speculating.

If that is the case or true, then Second Sight never ceases to amaze me. This would be awesome and welcome news!! I had emailed them after they released Dawn, if they were planning on releasing Day, after their magnificent Dawn release, and they replied that it was not in the current plans. I will definitely jump on it day one if it is true

Source has confirmed they are working on a 4K release.

This would be amazing. Though Dawn may be most people's favourite, my preference has always been Day and its dreary, ugly take on humanity at the end of the world.
