Default Mount a blu-player to a wall or back of a TV

I’ve put an a relatives TV on a wall mount and I had assumed wall mountable Blu-Ray players are common.

I’m very surprised that they are not and can only find a discontinued Samsung but it is not for sale anywhere.

Can anyone recommend a compact blu-ray player that could be wall mounted vertically behind a TV and a bracket that would suit it?

In fact, a player small enough to mount up the back of the TV itself would be preferable.

Cheers

Blu-ray players are not designed for what you have in mind. Why would anyone even want to mount a Blu-ray player behind a TV?

You can attach some PCs to the VESA mounts, but not in conjunction with wall mounting. I don't think the average player have the disc trays for vertical mounting (like PC drives do).

You're better off with something like this:

Did you buy it new when it was first released?

I had thought it odd that there was no second hand units for sale but just now I realise why - these were the only wall mounted players so who would sell one if they owned it.
