Is 3/31 the actual release date or a placeholder? I'm just curious since I have a bunch of Disney discs I'm holding off on buying from DMC so I can make the most out of a 60% off coupon. I can wait until the end of March to pick these up.

But no, I'm just not tracking these releases. A 3/31 release date is often an end-of-fiscal-year placeholder until an actual release date is announced but I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so I'm out of the loop. Hence, the question! Anyway, looks like 3/31 is the actual release so it will only be a short wait until all hell breaks loose on these forums.

Which is still a DNR mess. It's a real shame that the movie can look better than it does here, but we will likely never see it that way.

There is kind of a "Project 4K99" thing going on, but when you look it up it doesn't exactly inspire the confidence of a sure-thing. I'd take a film print scan of the theatrical version over the current DNR extended version, though, that's for sure. I guess some people just think it shouldn't be prioritized over The Empire Strikes Back for some reason

It has terrible PQ on Disney+ either, and the HDR is non existent.

Bill Hunt at Digitalbits just posted an updated list of special features, and according to him "The Beginning" is included.
