That MS guy is funny. I'd bet money that Sony's profits are higher (at retail) than MSs, in spite of MSs claim that Sony is the one failing at retail.

I'd say the Street Fighter IV number speaks for itself. That's incredible, and continues the streak of FPSs being pretty much the only games which do better worldwide on consoles other than the PS3.

KZ2 is well over 600K accounts on PSN too, so even with duplicates KZ2 should appear in the top 10 for March.

I wasn't even gonna buy FF13, but now i am. If FF13 on 360 outsells PS3, there will be blood!

it won't dude. 360 gamers don't buy rpgs. look at all the ones that have been exclusive thus far.

FF13 will hopefully prove something to SE.

Don't be surprised if FFXIII wins in the US for the other guy. You are setting yourself up for disappointment if you think otherwise.

I see what your saying but that game aint coming out till 2010. ps3 will already have a price drop before then, and the installed base in the U.S will be much much higher. im not saying the ps3 is guaranteed to outsell it, but i wouldn't be suprised if it did.

FFXIII is a huge deal to some people. Don't be surprised if non-RPG fans buy FFXIII for 360 just to stick it to Sony.

World-wide the PS3 wins everything short of party games (which go Wii) and FPSs (which are dominated by US sales so go 360).

That's not even a question.

The question is always NPD, because a lot of people(and companies even, see Square-Enix) seem to be ignoring everything outside the US.

You all must have noticed that the game sales were totally in favor of the PS3 RIGHT?!
Although 360 console outsold PS3 by a signifigant margine,
-the 2 top 10 games from MS sold just over 635K
-the 2 top 10 games from SONY sold over 725K..No wonder why sony is in no rush to drop the price

Added to those numbers, the XBOX has 10 million more consoles out there than the PS3? (pardon me if i am off a bit) Yet they barely outsold PS3 on Street Fighter 4. Piracy.

Piracy is rampant on the 360 people and I would say that is proof there.
Higher consoles yet lower game sales.

And i bet half of 360's total sales come from prod.

The sales of SF4 are really interesting because that means if the ps3 was at 14 million sold in the U.S the sales would be much high than what 360 sold at 14 million.

SF4 sales are better than expected considering the disparity in console base. KZ2 did respectable for 2 days. I bet a good portion of the sales will come from EU.

Are US #s in for that one yet? I can see it missing from the charts but that's all I know ATM.

Yeah those sf4 numbers are awesome for the ps3 those are some strong numbers heck I would not be suprised to see ps3 edge out 360 in Re5 sales this month.
