Wow, looks like a terrific and comprehensive package.
Two questions though:
1) I've never heard of this label. Are they any good with encoding and general AV specifications?
2) I'm a big fan of Saul Bass, but I've never seen this movie. Is it any good, what can I expect? Based on the films of my bluray collection would I like it?
Thanks!

I think if you like the films listed on this page, you'll probably like Phase IV.

The short answer is no! They have had a lot of problematic releases in the past, mainly due to them taking whatever they're given and slapping it onto disc, so there's been bad encoding, films in the wrong aspect ratio etc etc, they have had some decent releases but those have normally been ports of equally impressive US releases, although the 101 Films version normally don't have as many extras compared to their US counterparts. (Dolls, Black Christmas). With the start of their Black Label line they've been trying to turn it around, although one of their releases, Cooler IIRC, was bad and recently Prom Night appeared to be from an older(?) transfer compared to the US Synapse transfer. I'd wait for reviews if the PQ/AQ are important to you.

The Prom Night release used the exact same master that Synapse used on their release

Maybe the same master, but definitely not the same transfer. Synapse did some extensive restoration work for their release.

101 Films features great bonus features for Prom Night and allows region locked customers an opportunity to finally own the film on Blu-ray, but in terms of PQ, the relatively inexpensive Synapse release is superior for those who have a region free player.
