Probably it's just an HD code, but if you redeem it in itunes, you'll get 4k. That's how people "advertise" HD digital codes to get the maximum profits/exposures.

Up until a couple years ago, some Lionsgate codes could be redeemed in both Vudu and iTunes. As far as I know, for current Lionsgate codes, there's no way to dual redeem anymore or split them. So my first thought would be that the seller didn't realize it only redeems once. Or like viva said, possibly preselecting iTunes to get more profit. Or it was accidental.

The iTunes Midway code is probably from a Regal promo.
The Blu-ray codes are redeeming in 4k/UHD at Vudu correct ?
It seems like most Lionsgate films have been over the past few months.

The full Midway 4K Lionsgate code I picked up let me select iTunes, Vudu, Google or Fandango. Since I'm in a "family" share plan with Apple we always default to iTunes as then all "family" members see the movie. I would love for them all to be MA or cross platform as I still have a just a few Vudu only movies that I just don't have the desire to buy twice.

EDIT: Ah...I don't know if the standard BR code is redeeming in 4K on Vudu - hadn't seen a mention of that yet.

It's not mentioned much because sellers want to sell them at a 4k price even though they are from cheaper priced Blu-rays. Technically yes the digital is 4k but .... Not worth possibly starting a worthless debate in this thread.
