TX-SR805 Funny Smell?? No Sound

Is there an auto setting on the rcvr and or do I need to set it up differently on the Sony 300??

You have to set your audio to PCM, and then it will only show up as Multichannel PCM. The S300 can only pass TrueHD PCM not bitstream.
